So for me summer has officially started as I have just finished my art foundation year! (More posts on that soon!). On our last day we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and use our friend's boat to row to the Saxon Mill which is a lovely restaurant in Warwick. It took us around twenty minutes to row there and although we did have a fare few wobbles on the way, it was such a lovely journey with gorgeous views.
I really wanted to share some pictures I took with you all even though I don't have many (I was too scared I was going to drop my phone in the river!). We all really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be taking another trip on the boat soon!
I also really recommend everyone to visit the Saxon Mill, not only does it do great (although expensive) food but it is also such a lovely traditional building! It was originally a working watermill and still has some interesting original features to look at. I have been here a few times for special occasions as well and have never been disappointed.
We only stopped for a quick drink and had the classic Kopparberg berry ciders and lime sodas (which were so refreshing!). We also couldn't resist some chips with aioli which were so tasty! We managed to get a waiter to take a quick picture of us with the river in the background. Such a cute photo and a lovely day out! I hope the rest of my summer is this fun haha!
Thankyou for reading,
Love from Georgia
