MAKEUP REVIEW: URBAN DECAY MOONDUST PALETTE

The Urban decay moondust palette has recently been brought out and I instantly fell in LOVE with it. I am a big fan of the moondust eyeshadows they already have so I knew I would love this. The shades are a lot brighter than what I would normally wear but because they are so shimmery and sparkly I find them very easy to blend and mix in with different shades. This palette is perfect to create bold eyes and making an impact on a night out. The lighter shades in the palette are also perfect for a simple wash over the eye or to just brighten up your face a little. I have shown the pallete with its beautiful packaging and swatches down below.

From left to right and top to bottom: specter, element, magnetic, lightyear, granite, lithium, vega, galaxy.

These photographs really don't do this palette any justice or show how amazingly sparkly and pigmented the shades are. I cannot wait to create so many different looks with these unique eyeshadows.

Thankyou for reading.

ZOELLA LIFESTYLE

I have been a big fan of Zoe Sugg for a LONG time! I began following her blog many years ago, wayy before she created her YouTube channel after googling 'how to style my hair in a middle parting' (cringe). Ever since that, I became obsessed with her and her style. In recent years I have kind of drifted away from her channel and blog as theyre are so many other amazing bloggers and youtubers who I also follow. I felt as if she focused her YouTube channel on more fun and younger videos as opposed to her fashion and beauty videos which I loved watching.

Zoe has done soo well for herself by bringing out her own books and an amazing beauty range (I dont know how she has the time!). However, I also thought they were also slightly younger for me to purchase myself (I will admit to reading 'Girl Online' though haha).

#ZoellaApartment

I was SO excited to see that Zoe has brought out her own home/lifestyle range and after seeing all of the pictures released on twitter, I am so excited to get my hands on some of them! I love how they definitely still have aspects of Zoe's fun personality in them but they are more mature and grown up if you know what I mean? If you follow Zoe on any of her social media accounts you will know that she is a massive fan of home wear and is always buying new things to decorate her lovely home with so it was no surprise to me when she brought out her own range- it was only a matter of time!

My favourite things from the collections are definitely the room diffusers and stationary. I am in the process of getting all of my stuff ready to move to University so I cannot wait to get my hands on some of the things to put in my new room!

She has even brought a Christmas collection out which makes me feel so festive already! I hope you are as excited as me for the Zoella Lifestyle collection, Tell me what your favourite things are in the comments down below.

DECORATING CARDBOARD LETTERS

Welcome back!
Sorry for the lack of blog posts recently!- I've had a really busy but great summer, however I am back and have lots to share with you all! I will be starting university in under a month and I am SO excited to start doing work again and to show you all what I get up to. For anyone who is interested- I will be studying Fashion Communication and Promotion and I couldn't be more ready!

I am always doing little crafty projects on the go.. I've just always got to have something arty to do! So I thought I would share with you all something I have created recently. I have been seeing a lot of decorative letters around that people either have in their rooms for their initials or have lots of letters to spell something out and I love them but just haven't found the right one yet! I was recently in hobbycraft buying some supplies for my pre-arrival task for university (blog post on that soon!) and I spotted some large cardboard letters all decorated differently with different printed tissue papers. I decided to pick some letters and tissue papers up and create some of my own for me and my friends for our rooms when we go to uni (we will need something to cheer up our tiny boring rooms!).

I decided to go for a collage/patchwork effect and use all of the prints on the letters instead of going for the same pattern all over. I tried to pick the patterns with loads of different colours on so the letters would be bright and fun. All I needed was some PVA glue to stick these on with and to smooth over them for a glossy finish. I believe this technique I used was similar to decoupaging.

I hope you like the finished look! I was really happy with how they turned out and would definitely consider doing this again! Let me know if you have ever created anything similar. Also, if anyone has any advice on a good quality and easy to use camera that would be great because my i phone quality is not the best haha!
