MAC EYESHADOW COLLECTION

Welcome back!
I know I haven't posted in a while, It's been a pretty busy summer and I kind of hit a brick wall with what to post. I have soo many ideas and am a bit of a perfectionist so it sometimes takes a while for me to get round to creating some amazing posts for you all!
I've been wanting to create a MAC eyeshadow collection for a while now, I have previously uploaded a MAC lipstick collection and thought it would be equally as helpful and fun to create an eyeshadow collection as I am pretty obsessed with them too!

I have included swatches so you can all see what the eyeshadows look like on the skin.

Left-Right: gleam, satin taupe, quarry, green smoke, smut.

                                                                                                          GLEAM
This eyeshadow has a goldy-peachy pink shimmer in it making it a good colour for people with blue eyes as it makes them pop! It is a very creamy eyeshadow and the colour can be built up to make the pigment stronger when applied. One bad thing about this eyeshadow however is the fact that the glitter falls down onto your face when applying it so I either apply a cream eyeshadow underneath or do my eyeshadow before my face makeup just so I dont ruin it.

SATIN TAUPE
This is a very popular shade and I can see why! The shimmery grey-brown colour would suit anyone. Its a great shade to work into the crease for a heavier night-time look.

QUARRY
I purchased this matte shade to use on my eyebrows and its the perfect shade! I dont really use it much as I am too obsessed with the anastasia dipbrow pomade but it worked really well before I had that. If you like a matte eyeshadow look this is perfect for that.

GREEN SMOKE
I absolutely love this shade. Its so different to anything else I wear on my eyes. This smoky grey-green shade adds a subtle hint of colour to my makeup and I love washing it all over the eye if I go out. The shimmer also gives it a glamorous look. The shade would work with any eye colour but it would definitely make brown eyes stand out the most!

SMUT
I got this as a shade to blend into the crease but I havent used it as much as I thought I would have. Its very pigmented so its a very dark shade that I sometimes struggle to blend as it can sometimes look a little chalky. However I think everyone needs a few darker shades in their collections to experiment with. I love smudging this shade on the lower lash line for a heavy smokey eye look.

HONEY LUST
This is one of my favourite shades as I find it so wearable. If i am in a rush, this is a go-to shade which I will quickly apply all over the lid, the shimmer does all the work and makes it look like ive made more of an effort than I have! Once again, this would really suit blue eyes!

RETRO-SPECK
This white-gold shade is so lovely to blend in the inner corner of the eye or to lighten up an eye look. I find this a really useful shade in my collection and the shimmers and glitters in it are lovely.

NAKED LUNCH
When choosing some of my first MAC eyeshadows I saw that this one was very popular but I have to say, I am quite disappointed in it. I find that it has almost no pigmentation to it and it isnt very creamy. I have to work really hard to get some colour from it so I dont really use this shade very much.

CLUB
I love this two-toned eyeshadow. The blue-brown shade is perfect for nights out to create a darker look, I definitely wouldnt use it in the daytime as it is very pigmented! I was obsessed over this shade when I first got it and it looks good on everyone.

SKETCH
This auburn shade is a lot more purple/red in real life and it is a great shade for people with green eyes. I use this when I want a bit of a change from neutral colours which I tend to stick to a lot! Its a lovely colour to blend into the crease or smudge under the lower lash line.

I hope you enjoyed my MAC eyeshadow collection! Be sure to check out my lipstick collection too and let me know any shades of eyeshadows or lipsticks that I am missing out on!

Thankyou for reading,
Love from Georgia
