Day four was probably one of my favourite days. The weather was really nice and warm considering it was January and was snowing just a couple of days earlier! I felt like we got a lot done on this day and saw lots of things on our list (yes we had a list haha). Of course we did a lot of shopping throughout our trip so we spent the morning around the hotel exploring the shops near by. The flat iron building was also so close to our hotel and was definitely worth seeing! It was quite a bizarre but beautiful shape. I loved looking at the unique architecture in New York, each building was so different to the next.
We picked up some juices on our way round and I have to say.. Im now hooked! I never saw the hype with the whole nutri bullet, juice phase and I thought my mum was a bit nuts juicing any old vegetable she could get her hands on and mixing it with nice fruits haha! We did a bit more exploring on our way to central park, this was a long walk but we kept having breaks at little cafes and shops so it wasn't too bad and as I said, the weather was perfect for it. I loved looking at the high end shops and we even walked past trump tower.. however this did not please me!
One of my favourite parts of my day was finding the Sprinkles ATM. I was determined to find it and I was NOT disappointed! Why do we not have these in the UK!
We eventually arrived at Central park and admired the scenery, we were really lucky to have such good weather on this day. One of my favourite parts of Central park was the Alice in Wonderland statue, I had always wanted to see it and it was just as beautiful in real life, if you haven't already guessed by now I am a huge girly girl haha!
After central park we decided to walk over to the MET which wasn't far away, we had a quick brake and eat our sprinkles cupcakes on the same steps Blair and Serena would have in Gossip girl! We had a browse round the MET and walked over to the amazing building- Guggenheim which was unfortunately closed.
We headed back to the hotel after this to have something to eat and to have a break! However, before going to sleep we wanted to quickly fit the Empire State or Rockefeller in and as the Empire state was so close to our hotel, we opted for that! It was such a surreal and breathtaking experience, especially as we did it at night with all of the bright city lights. As we went up in the lift to the 86th floor our ears literally popped we were so high up! It told a little bit of history about the place inside and had an outdoor area which is probably the windiest place I have ever been to. I felt like I was going to be blow over the edge!
